This Notification provides Signatory States and Observers with an update regarding the Fourth Meeting of Signatory States to the Dugong MOU (MOS4), scheduled to take place from 6 to 7 May 2024 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

While excellent progress has been made with preparations for the Meeting, due to unforeseen circumstances, and after consultations with the Host Country the dates of the Meeting will be changed to a later date. With this, the date of the 2024 Seagrass & Dugong Technical Workshop, originally scheduled to take place back-to-back with MOS4 on 8 May 2024 in Riyadh, will also be changed.

The exact dates for both MOS4 and the Workshop will be communicated as soon as possible following consultation with the Host Country. This communication will be made via email, Notification to the Parties, and the MOS4 webpage, where all meeting documents have already been published.

Signatory States and Observers who have already registered via the registration platform for MOS4 and the registration platform for the Workshop will not need to re-register.
